Open Meetings Reminder
Visitors are always welcome to all public meetings of the District Trustees. The Board encourages participation by the general public relative to matters on the agenda during the debate of those matters. The President will recognize the Trustees first, then the employees or other District officials, and then the interested party.
To comment on an issue not on the agenda, persons wishing to speak will be called upon by the President during section G, General Public. The interested party will stand, identify themselves and make their comment.
In order to give proper consideration to all items on the agenda, the President will limit participants in a debate and will close off protracted, repetitive, irrelevant or abusive remarks.
